Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Burke County, North Dakota. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls The role involves: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Part-time with flexible hours.
