Elevator technician wanted in Henderson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Henderson County, Illinois. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
