Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal roofer in Pike County, Illinois. The role involves: • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems 5+ years on the tools preferred.
