Your main tasks: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
