Plant operator • Albemarle County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Albemarle County, Virginia. You will work in an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
