Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in Boone County, Nebraska. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot The role involves: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits.
