Hoist operator wanted in Santa Cruz County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in Santa Cruz County, California. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) The role involves: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
