Now hiring: we are hiring a joiner in San Luis Obispo County, California. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Your main tasks: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Own basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
