Sand plant operator • Ikono, Akwa Ibom State

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Ikono, Akwa Ibom State. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
