Aluminium tig welder wanted in Perry County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Perry County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
