Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Gogebic County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances The role involves: • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
