Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in City of York, England. The job is at a plant hire yard. Day-to-day duties: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Part-time with flexible hours.
