Crane rigger wanted in Edwards County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in Edwards County, Kansas. The job is at a container port. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles On the job you will handle: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
