Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Richland County, Illinois. You will work on a lift modernisation project. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
