Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Bland County, Virginia. The job is in a residential tower block. Day-to-day duties: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
