Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal roofer in Winneshiek County, Iowa. You will be based at a roofing and cladding contractor. On a typical shift you will carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; insulate and ventilate the roof void; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds 3+ years on the tools preferred.
