On the job you will handle: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 3+ years on the tools preferred.
