Stainless steel welder wanted in Richland County

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Richland County, Wisconsin. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
