Occupational health and safety officer • Cook County, Minnesota

Immediate opening: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Cook County, Minnesota. You will work in a chemical processing unit. You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Your main tasks: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
