Urgent requirement: gantry crane operator (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Barren County, Kentucky. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Your main tasks: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. We offer $21 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
