Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Six days a week, one day off.
