Immediate opening: we are hiring a tiler in Solano County, California. You will work on a new-build housing development. On a typical shift you will set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Six days a week, one day off. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
