Lift mechanic — Lake County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Lake County, Ohio. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
