Fire and safety officer • Kurfi, Katsina State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Kurfi, Katsina State. You will work on a high-rise building project. On a typical shift you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Full-time, day shift.
