Occupational health and safety officer — Sevier County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Sevier County, Tennessee. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. Your main tasks: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
