On a typical shift you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; season and marinate meat on request. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
