Day-to-day duties: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate Rotating shifts.
