Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Banks County, Georgia. The job is on a structural steel site. You will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
