Now hiring: we are hiring an electrician in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a power distribution substation. Requirements: • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state Day to day you will fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels; replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings; crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands; dress and terminate wiring inside control panels; install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB; size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop.
