Aluminium TIG welder wanted in Dyer County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Dyer County, Tennessee. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day to day you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Overtime paid at a premium rate.
