Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in Adair County, Missouri. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
