Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in City and County of Swansea, Wales. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Pay around £15 per hour, based on your experience.
