Stamping press operator wanted in Aransas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Aransas County, Texas. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Day-to-day duties: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
