Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Caledonia County, Vermont. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Your main tasks: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Give each garment a final press before packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
