MIG/MAG welder — Yancey County

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Yancey County, North Carolina. The role involves read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
