Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Manchester, England. The role involves guide loads through tight openings into their final position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Part-time with flexible hours.
