We are recruiting: we are hiring a production welder in McLennan County, Texas. The role involves change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
