Metal caster wanted in City and Borough of Leeds

Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in City and Borough of Leeds, England. Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
