Great opportunity: falsework carpenter (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Orange County, California. Your main tasks: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $2,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
