Food and beverage server wanted in Lafayette County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a food and beverage server in Lafayette County, Missouri. You will be based at a banquet hall. On a typical shift you will handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; check back during the meal and handle special requests; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left. You should have: • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
