GTAW welder • Bates County, Missouri

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Bates County, Missouri. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
