Vacancy available: rebar fixer (Northern Ireland)

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Mid and East Antrim, Northern Ireland. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations On the job you will handle: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat We offer £11 per hour plus benefits.
