Vacancy available: we are hiring a catering cook in Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch What we are looking for: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Performance bonus on top of base pay.
