Shuttering and concrete hand • Washoe County, Nevada

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Washoe County, Nevada. The job is on a road and bridge project. Day-to-day duties: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
