Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Morgan County, Indiana. The job is at an automobile body shop. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
