Pipe TIG welder — Katsina-Ala

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Katsina-Ala, Benue State. On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
