Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Starr County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash You should have: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
