Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Arkansas County, Arkansas. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day to day you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints.
