Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Washtenaw County, Michigan. Day to day you will operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
