Your main tasks: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Part-time with flexible hours.
